Background
Currently, DC brushless fan are applied field more and more range of customer¡¯s applications from CPU,
sever, power supply to telecom, PV application for outdoor or relatively austere environment.
Waterproof and dustproof fan are indeed of required under these conditions as following trend .


Old type waterproof Fan
1. Coating Process (Vacuum Deposition): stator and PCB coating process are high risky for components,
and lower corrosion-resistant
2. Glues Pouring Process﹕ Fully glues feed in HUB within stator and PCB, this process is complicated
and bubble remain in colloid was worse isolation

Test Result Verify
IEC 68-2-17 Test Qf :Sealing
Pressure: 20KPa
IEC 68-2-18 Test Rc: Immersion
Test duration: 720 hours
10th.May ~ Now on going

IEC 68-2-11 Test Ka: Salt mist Test duration: 6 months 3rd.May ~ Now on going

Bearing was no corrosion to happen in 3 month/5% salt spray test.
